What the room does
Six things, done properly. If what you need isn't listed, ask anyway — most odd requests turn out to be one of these wearing a different hat.
Session guitar
Lead lines, rhythm beds, harmonised layers and solos for other people's records. Send a rough mix and a reference; get multiple takes back with raw DI files.
Recording & production
Full-record production from pre-production and arrangement through tracking. Vocals, guitars, bass and programmed drums all handled in-house.
Mixing & mastering
Mix from your raw tracks or master a finished record. Two revision rounds included, plus streaming-ready and CD-ready masters.
Arrangement & composition
Turn a voice memo into a finished arrangement — adverts, title sequences, wedding pieces, event themes and instrumental covers.

For Maldivian artists starting out: song selection, arrangement, recording and a release plan that doesn't waste your budget.
Process
Four steps, no surprises
Send the brief
The cut, the deadline, the budget and two or three reference tracks. Rough footage is fine — a locked picture is better.
Get a plan and a price
A written scope back within two working days: what gets written, how many cues, what it costs and when it lands.
Hear a draft
A first pass on the main theme before anything else is written, so the direction gets agreed early instead of at the end.
Take delivery
Final mix plus stems, alternates and edit-friendly versions. Two rounds of revisions are already in the price.
Built for guitars first
Legacy Studios is a working writing and tracking room in Malé, set up around the instrument Shahyd knows best. Multi-scale seven and eight string guitars, a deep amp and cabinet library, and a signal chain tuned for the kind of high-gain clarity instrumental metal needs.
It's a small room by design. You deal with the person making the record, not a booking desk — which is why turnarounds are measured in days rather than months.
